About RC College of Commerce, Ahmedabad

RC College of Commerce was established by the Government of Gujarat to meet the growing demand for commerce education in Ahmedabad and surrounding areas.

This college started from a very special and historical building – a heritage building made of red bricks, located near Delhi Chala. This building was donated by Baronet Shri Udayan Chinubhai, which shows his dedication to education.

The college was inaugurated in the presence of very honourable people – Shri Bharatbhai Barot (then Deputy Education Minister), Shri Kaushikbhai Patel (Revenue Minister) and Swatantr Shekhon (Higher Education Commissioner).

It is clear from these names that this college was started with a big vision right from the beginning.
